Update About PolicyKit Security Vulnerability

As always, our cybersecurity, development, and testing teams here at Nagios are constantly investigating every potential and credible threat to our software. We are aware of and closely monitoring the Linux PolicyKit security vulnerability (CVE-2021-4034) found by Qualys.

This vulnerability is not known to affect our products. Though this vulnerability applies to many Linux distributions, we will continue to test our products to ensure functionality, security, and stability around the patches that are required by the affected Linux operating systems.

We encourage you to keep all your Linux operating systems patched for security and bugs. If you are utilizing our OVA to run our solutions (that you downloaded from our website), we use CentOS for our choice of Linux operating systems. We advise you to consult with CentOS for instructions on how to keep the system current.
