About Stephen Sutherland
Stephen Sutherland is Head of Direct Sales at Nagios, with over 10 years of experience in sales, building relationships and trust across industries. His focus has always been on being a source of reliability and understanding and genuinely asking, “How can I help this person or team?”
His interest in this session grew from his time as a Nagios Customer Success Manager, where he worked across every facet of the business (customers, development, support, partners, marketing) and saw firsthand how many customers weren’t fully tapping into the resources available to them. He now brings that insight to his sales leadership role, helping teams become more customer-centric in ways that stick long after the initial conversation ends. In practice, that means helping organizations improve satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and build the kind of trust that drives long-term adoption.
Stephen hopes attendees leave knowing just how much support the Nagios Team and its global partner network have to offer on their monitoring journey. Outside of work, he’s a committed 90s hip-hop head who produces his own music, dabbles in woodworking, and is attempting a skateboarding comeback.
