Nagios
About The Speaker
His interest in computing began at an early age, the moment he booted his first adventure game floppy (Kings Quest V), and was further fueled by the rise of the internet, MMOs, and cyberpunk classics such as Neuromancer and Synners. After various careers in such diverse fields as mobile phone sales and management, CNC machining, delivery driving, care home caregiving, logging (as in forests), overnight superstore maintenance, and finally a few years as a wedding DJ, Shamas finally got the IT job of his dreams at Nagios in 2011. Having recently returned to the company after a 5-year weekend, which he mostly spent reading, taking naps, going for walks, building a cabin, and enjoying time with his family, Shamas is excited to be back in the saddle at Nagios helping customers make the most of our tools.
