Graphics and Video Intern

We’re looking for an eager intern that is savvy with digital video and wants to gain real-world experience in graphics and video work. This is a full-time position with up to fourty (40) hours per week, but we’ll consider applicants looking for part-time work. This position lasts for up to six (6) months with the possibility of continued employment in the future. The rate for this position is $15-$20/hour DOQ.

In this position you’ll be working with the same people that produced videos found on the Nagios Youtube channel (

The person hired into this position will work in our Saint Paul, MN office, which is located off of Energy Park Drive. Employment can start as early as November.

The person hired into this role will be responsible for:
– Using professional camera and audio equipment to capture video footage and audio samples
– Using desktop video capture and editing software to create original content
– Working with other digital video employees to learn best practices
– Creating photos, illustrations, and videos for internal purposes, as well as social media and blog posts
– Collaborating with team members, customers, and partners

Things that are required for this position:

– Excellent time management skills
– Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or other comparable video editing software
– Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or comparable image editing software
– Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (or comparable solutions)
– Proficiency with email clients and email communication

Things that would be ideal in a candidate include:
– Previous experience producing custom video content
– Social media platform experience (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
– WordPress experience
– Adobe Illustrator experience
– Experience creating original content for Youtube and social media sites
– Experience with utilizing stock footage and audio
– Project management skills
