Community Advisors

We value input from the Nagios community when it comes to making decisions, so we’ve chosen to involve some of the best and brightest Nagios minds out there.

• Hendrik Baecker
  Hendrik lives in Dortmund, Germany. Since 2001 he has worked for a
  german application service provider with over 150 different sublocations
  in Europe. He has worked with Nagios since 2002 to monitor over 7000
  Services for their customers. Since October 2005 he has engaged in the
  german Nagios-Portal.de to help others with Nagios and develops for the
  Nagios graphing addon PNP4Nagios. In his
  spare time - which is really spare - he loves to read some non-tech
  books and watch DVD at his home cinema.
• Alex Burger
  Alex Burger lives in Toronto, Canada and currently works for a large international company as a network engineer and has worked with Nagios since 2002. Alex is the author of SNMPTT and is also a developer for Net-SNMP, primarily working on the Windows port. Most of his spare time is spent mountain biking, snowboarding or working on open source software.
• Andreas Ericsson
  Andreas lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he works as a software engineer building network monitoring solutions centered around Nagios. Favorite pastimes include almost everything going really fast. His favorite color is green, to the dismay of his girlfriend, who’s really much too good for him.
• Thomas Guyot-Sionnest
  Thomas Guyot-Sionnest lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is a young
  Systems Administrator currently working for an advertising company. He
  works with Nagios since 2005 and has experience with various monitoring
  and graphing methods for both Linux and Windows servers. He took the
  opportunity to join the Nagios-plugins development team in 2006 as he
  always liked to help OSS projects and wanted to improve his basic C
  skills. Outside computers he loves spending time with his two kids and
  riding his 70’s race bicycle regardless of the weather.
• Joerg Linge
  Joerg lives in St. Ottilien, Germany. Since 1997 he has worked for a german newspaper publisher and printing plant. He has worked with Nagios since 2004 to monitor the complete business workflow up to the rotary printing machines. He is one of the moderators of the german Nagios-Portal and the developer of PNP4Nagios - an RRDtool based graphing solution.
  In his spare time he loves to ride his motobike.
• Michael Luebben
  Michael lives in Roffhausen, Germany and works in a company as developer and administrator for a distributed and redundant monitoring Nagios installation. He is the leader from the german nagios-portal and one of the developers for the NagVis and NagTrap addons for Nagios. In his spare time he plays the online game World of Warcraft, makes a studium and loves to go out with his girlfriend or to go out with his friends.
• Ton Voon
  Ton resides in Derbyshire, UK and works for a company providing products around Nagios. Ton started playing with Nagios 6 years ago and fell into the Nagios Plugin team, which he now leads. Devoted to his family, he’s given up hopes of playing in the English Premier League, being an extra on TV shows, or writing competition-winning movie reviews. But he still likes to cook for friends.
